doesn't seem to work for Sims Medieval and Gatling Gears unless you need to order separately?

I keep getting invalid promo code

nope, doesn't work with single games either.

Are you trying to order through the origin.com website or the Origin desktop client? This promo ONLY works with the desktop client... NOT the website.

Doh, should have read the OP.

edit: So you have to put your credit card details etc in before you can apply the promo code? I can't figure out how to apply it at checkout without giving them my payment info.

edit2: Entered credit card payment, got to checkout, confirmed that the promo code doesn't work on Bulletstorm in NZ. Must be region locked.

Can anyone give me a heads-up on the price for Darkspore? It might be worth it on the super-cheap with a friend.

Because they want you to let them swallow your soul--I mean install and run their client at least once. The soul part is optional.

No, it's different. The Origin client ONLY lets you buy digital download versions and links it automagically to your account. The website gives you a little bit more flexibility. And yes, it's retarded.

AFAIK, Origin also can use Paypal as a payment method. Mayhaps that would allow you to "fool" it?

Don't suppose you can pre-order TOR or ME3 with this?

Guess I'll stock up on Bio points for ME3 DLC instead.

Bought Bulletstorm

$8 is a good price for it, though I don't know when I'll play it.

Doesn't work for the 1600 point pack. And you can only get one of the 800 point pack. Bummer.

You can buy more if you do multiple transactions. Just apply the code each time. I stocked up on some points myself :)

I think I misjudged Bulletstorm before. It's actually funner than I expected from the demo. I still don't care much for the really stupid dialog, but luckily it doesn't come up very often. Glad I only paid $8 for it as I probably will only play it through once, if that, but it's been a pretty good time so far. They introduce new weapons at a very good pace so you always seem to get a new toy right when you were beginning to feel "the grind" of the linear game play.

Everything I want, I already got through Steam. But I guess I could start Dragon Age now.

No one mentioned the nearly naked babes in DA?

Do the Origin games 'disappear' after a year where you can no longer d/l them? Just checking, I remember a rumor like that and wouldn't mind picking up Alice.

Shadow Broker is definitely awesome. I enjoyed Kasumi as well if you haven't played through that one yet.

The last DLC, "Arrival", is a must have - it sets up the story for ME3.

That kind of sucks. I enjoyed ME2 and can hardly wait for ME3, but havent played any of the DLC. Hope it doesnt affect the gameplay of ME3 too much; I have never bought any DLC, and would rather not start now. Just another way for EA/Bioware to get more bucks from you. Maybe if I can find a game of the year edition cheap somewhere with all the DLC, I would buy it and play everything again in preparation for the third game. But since they abandoned KOTOR (TOR doesnt count!!) entirely and dumbed down Dragon Age tremendoulsy, I am getting concerned that ME3 will be a big letdown or be turned into a multiplayer shooter.

I used this to pick up Crysis 2, Da 2 and The Sims 3. Tried The Sims for the first time yesterday and played for 10 hours straight. Kind of wish I had used the code on some DLC. Got to pray for another sale now. :(
