Today is day 3 for EA who cannot keep battlelog online. No battlelog no way to play any battlefield game so bf3 and bf4 are nonfunctional. I'm not sure who made the decision to force everything online but this is ridiculous to make a game that will not work without a connection to their servers which they cannot keep online.

Since when has it been down? I played last night with no problems

They were up for 8-10 or so hours yesterday though they been down for just as long for the last 3 days. Their servers have been pretty reliable for the year though the last week they've had some intermittent down time. Definitely not timely. It could be because of peek and it happens to be Christmas vacation everywhere. Just one of those things that EA and the server service carrier never care to actually freaking talk about when they sign the contract.

Yeah the BF3 Server Browser wouldn't even load for me about 20 minutes ago.

Now no login to Battlelog,no contact with Ea online.Times like this i honestly hate the Browser for Server Browsing. It should be optional to have it in the game as well as in the browser.

Basically this. Who even came up with the idea? This whole Battlelog thing seems like the worst idea ever to me. It should either be optional or non-existent. When I wanted to play single-player and I found out that I had to login from a browser, I kind of freaked out.

Anyway, I was away for the past few days with the family, and came back to see BF4 offline. Merry Christmas, I guess?

Kinda the same for me but also cause the last patch ruined the game for me.Went about a re-install hoping to fix my issues and they got miles worst.Guess the attacks are affecting gameplay as well?

Decided to try me some BF3 and well last night it was dead but playable, today nope not even playable.COD:BO2 is the fps i play i guess till this bs is over with.

COD:BO2 is problem free,i know its COD but hell something is being done right with those servers.

Looks like its coming back to life. I really dont think its ddos attacks. EA leases out to hosting game service server farms that are likely serving many clients and game platforms. Holiday traffic from many other game titles could also be affecting it. I think "hackers" are taking credit for something that happens when game service hosts over extend themselves.

TONS of new players from the 5 dollar sale and possibly NK sabotuers!

I am laying my money on the simpler solution. Aliens.

Mass hysteria in the BF3 and BF4 forums,3 day old 138 page thread based around the Game disconnected error. Some threads are epic and some are downright funny.A thread or two even had mods locking them in record breaking time and one got renamed to a downright hilarious title before the Op got himself banned and the thread locked.

Good laughs to be had there,i suggest anyone with a funny bone and a cup of coffee to check it out:)

The moment EA launched origin and forced everything to use their proprietary servers for no good reason, I stopped buying their games. This is a classic example of why that was a good idea.

Not that BF3/4 are any good to begin with, the BF series died with BC2.
