I'm not going to gaurentee that they aren't rendered but likewise i wont gaurentee that they are, becaue the Dude talking about it from EA was talking as if within the next few years our systems would be strong enough to render stuff like this realitime. If you check out some of the slides i posted they mention the next wave of gaming systems in the next 12-24 months and i wouldnt be supprised if the PS3, Next Gen Xbox or Next Gen Nintendo can handle some really insane graphics.

That looks freakin awesome. I am getting bored with Fight Night 2004. I have gotten to the point where I box people a class or two higher than me...

Cool images. Next-Gen wont even be close to rendering that in realtime in a game, but it's probably a sign of what's coming in another 5-10 years.

There's no chance next gen will be that good in realtime.
Xenon and PS3 specs have pretty much been finalized, and from the sounds of it the next XBox will just be a few notches above the top of the line computer out right now at the very most. So just imagine, if the best home PC you can buy right now can't come close to that, I can't imagine a next gen console doing so. MAYBE in the generation after, we'll see.
In any case, if it's coming out of an EA marketer's mouth...


I'll still buy whatever comes out next, I don't care.

I'm in on boycotting EA, i just thought these pics were pretty cool.

I talked to a few of my freinds and did a little research and I'll concide that the graphics most likely wont be as good as those pics, i realize im contradicting a bit of what I said earlier.

It would probably be safe to assume that graphics this good wont come out untill they have hardware powerfull enough to do real time ray tracing. as royaldank said, probably in the next 5-10 years, but possiably sooner: check out www.openrt.de
