Well, let's at least hope that they go out on a high note and make Mass Effect as epic as they're promising.

Oh, and

Mass Effect is pretty much done...so I'm not worried...but this makes me sad as Mass Effect has the potential to be the last great Bioware game. Here's to hoping EA realizes they have a good thing and keeps Bioware intact and running smoothly.

MS can't like this as Bioware has been pretty faithful to making MS only games.

From what everyone is saying EA isn't gonna screw with Mass Effect this late. I just hope they don't pull a Westwood on Bioware.

There's no way they could screw with it at this point. Too close to release and MS owns the publishing rights. The worry is is what will happen with the next two in the planned trilogy.

I'm not sure why I'm the original quote, but all I meant to say was that I hope Mass Effect rules, so if BioWare never makes another good game again we'll at least have Mass Effect. I'm not worried about EA messing it up, I just hope it will be as good as it looks, and as good as BioWare has been promising. You know, since it's not out yet...and we have yet to play it.

Too bad this didn't happen after we got a bioshock patch =/

As sad and unbelievable as it may sound EA looks like GOD next to the pack of incompetent fools at 2K.

It would actually be a GOOD thing if EA published Bioshock instead of 2K.

Well, I guess I can kiss Dragon Age goodbye, at least the dragon age that was to be a "spiritual successor" to Baldurs Gate 2, it will probably either be canceled or at best "re envisioned" as an action RPG like Icewind Dale or worse....... another diablo clone.

Damn EA, the scourge of gaming. Bioware will go the way of Origin Systems.

I guess the best RPG developer is now Obsidian..... but they have the handicap of being under the thumb of Atari (aka EA's minime).
