EA and Win2k - Why won't they support it?

I've been noticing a lot of EA games coming out these days say "NT/Windows 2000 NOT support" on the system requirement list. What's up with this?

Is it a matter of "If you can get it running, great! But if you can't, don't come wining to us about it!"

I'd love to get the new American McGee's Alice, but if this is the way they're going to treat me...

Their games just dont support the nt kernel. It's very different from win9x

Some people say they have tried and can't get any EA games to work on there systems but I've had no problems. I've installed Madden2K1\TriplePlay2K1\Fifa2K1 with no probs.
