E92 M3 fitted with M5 V10

I'd love to see a 335i w/ an LS7 and some run-of-the-mill aftermarket suspension go toe to toe with that. 😀

I don't know if you can really consider any M3 a sleeper 🙂

That's why it should be done on a 325i with original badges in place. Even the cheesy original exhaust tips should be kept in place, with the real exhaust blowing down at the ground under the car. Have ridiculously good tires, but on stock-looking wheels.

Now THAT would be a sleeper 3 😀

Edmunds just drove Hartge's H50. Same concept except on a regular 3er.

i like the idea but at $220K and a slower 0-60 time than the M5, i don't see how Hartge makes any money off this. I mean why not get a Z06, M5, and a regular commuter car for less?

Or better yet : (forgive me if my pricing is off)

2007 BMW 325i : $35kish
LS7 Motor + 6spd : $12kish
New brakes/wheels/tires/suspension : $12kish
Supercharger + ECU + Tuning : $6kish
New Rear End, Axle, misc : $8kish
Labor, motor mounts, labor, frame reinforcement, misc, did I mention labor? : $20kish

So : $93,000 plus or minus 15%, and you'd end up with probably a 750WHP monster 😀

I'd leave the '325i' Badge on the back 😉

EDIT : Oh yeah, could probably sell the original 3 liter engine and transmission and assorted parts for at least $5k, being as they are pulled from a brand-new vehicle 😉

Only to people who don't understand how sequential manuals work, but to the rest of the world, it's not. 😉

Word. The new SMGs are outstanding.

Hint : Sequential Manual Gearbox

That's either a 335i with M3 body panels or a good chop... Look at the instrument cluster, red line at 7k? M3's S65 revs to 8400, S85 V10 revs to 8250...

Good eye, it's definitely not an M3 cluster. However, the redline isn't what tells you, since it moves depending on engine temperature.

M3 cluster:

The M5/M6 has a redline of 8250. However, check it out when the engine is cold:

True but the M3 and M5 tach goes to 9k where as the 335i only goes to 7k.

Yep, that and the speedo are the giveaways.
