I have a chance to swap my e6300 for this e7600 I like that fact that it has a highest muilt so even at 400 front side it's like 4.6.

If it will go that high may be worth it over the e6300 I have which will do 4.3 plus 3mb vs 2mb win.

Has anyone here pushed one of these in the 4.5 plus territory? When do wolf-dales hit the wall?

Yeah well I'll probably try for it and see what happens 4.5 or higher at 500ish would be sweet. Maybe I get a sweet chip and get close to 5ghz:eek:

I have a really early e7200 and took it to 4.1, so it may be within reach. Will take a lot of voltage though

Yeah it's all play don't really care of I kill it. I run my 45nm e6300 at 1.5 which is probably bad 24/7 but I have good temps on water so who knows.

On water still have to run close to 1.5 v core on it thought. Never get over 50c in prime so am happy. Got a small gain over the e 6300 but hey it's all fun.

I play star trek online e7600 at 4.4 compared to my e 6300 at 4.3 got me a usable 2 fps more at 1900 by 1200 according to fraps.
