99% of them have stuck sensors. Just live with it like we all did

I highly doubt you'd get 4GHz outta that CPU. You'd need an E0
E8400/E8500/E8600.

I've seen a co E8400 hit 4.4 before so I dont see why a 7400 couldn't hit 4ghz if hes lucky

My R0 E7400 is stuck at 36C. Need to run OCCT/Linpak to obtain an accurate output of the core temp. Peak out-of-the-box Linpack temp @ 72F ambient is 73C. After removing the heat spreader (new AS5 compound) and lapping, the load temp went down 9C.

CPU is Orthos/Linpack stable @ 4.2GHz with 1.3575V in BIOS (1.312V CPUz). The default VID is 1.2375. Maximum Prime95 temp with 72F ambient is 52C. I use the Big Typhoon.
