Ok... I was almost set to clk up my order on my new 845PE mobo and was comparing the Pe,Ge,Sg and noticed I couldnt find the 8INXP (Gigabyte brd on pricewatch). So what i found out was the INXP is the GB brd with the Gig Lan, ATA Serial etc (u guys knew this alrdy I know.lol) so my question is along these lines. If i order say the Asus P4G8X DELUXE mobo with all the frills, my 4x vid card, ata133 HD, LAN connection etc etc is not going to be able to take advantage of what the brd can do right?

I will have to wait for an 8x AGP capable card, the new ATA Serial HD's to come out, this next generation of Gig LAN stuff from rd runner(w\ increased cost Im sure.lol) to be able to use the brd right. So I would be better off sticking with my original choice of the GB brd like the GA-8PE667 Ultra from a money and performance standpoint because I can use some of my current components without have to retool pretty much the whole system if I went with the E7205 route?

I appreciate any insight and welcome your opinions and any education you can lay on me regarding this.lol
Thx!!!

You don't have to retool. All of your existing components such as LAN, video card and hard drives will work fine and up to their full potential on the P4G8X.

It's doubtful that anyone outside of large businesses would use GigE; no video card fully takes advantage of AGP4X bandwidth let alone AGP8X bandwidth; same with your ATA drive.

The new granite bay boards look good, but I'm waiting for sis 655 comparisons. By that time, the granite bay prices should come down some. I e-mailed albatron twice, asking them if they were coming out with a granite bay board. Unfortunately, they're not. I was hoping to find a lower priced version.
