I'm planning to order one of these later today and obviously want one of the newer G0 chips. Does anyone know what Newegg or Mwave are currently carrying? I need to buy other stuff from those places so they would be the most convenient options.

I see that Tankguys gives you a guaranteed G0, but they're OOS and I need it quickly (will be moving next week and want to get this set up before I head out).
 
yes, all the 6x50 chips are g0. the only other g0 chips out right now are the newer quads. It's funny to think that you might prefer a Q6700 to a QX6700 b/c the Q6700 was a G0...

Dual core 6x50's aren't G0 at all, but E0 and it's basically the same thing anyway. E0 is a dual core variant of a quad core G0.
 
Just looked over at the Intel spec finder and indeed they've changed the E0's to G0's. They were E0's before.
 
hmmmm, that's odd. I distinctly remember checking my e6750 the first time I loaded cpu-z and it has always reported it as G0.

An anandtech article suggested that Q6700s aren't necessarily all GO...the only ones that you can be sure are G0 are the E6X50 and Q6850. Well lets say they listed the chips that are all G0 and the Q6700 was ommited from the list.
