i just checked my cpu temps for the first time in the bios and its at 51 C

isnt that high...my pc has been on for about 2 days straight...i just ordered an arctic cooling 7 heatsink so that should help, i ordered arctic silver 5 also which i have never used...am i going to have to remove the grease from the stock heatsink on the chip or just apply the silver 5 over it or what?

The AC7 has MX-1 paste, which is good paste IMO and you should not need the AS5. I cleaned the grease from the stock heat sink. The fan has also worked well for me :)

it comes pre applied with the paste?

should i clean off the paste from the stock heatsink?or just leave it

The AC7 Freezer Pro I am using (that replaced the Intel stock fan) came with the paste on the heat sink (you can see it thru' the plastic) and it is a good thermal paste. I cleaned the paste left over on my CPU heat sink by the stock Intel fan gently using q-tips and isopropyl rubbing alcohol.
