hey guys, i am currently stable with 380*9..the cpu is 50c idle and about 70 on full load..sometimes it even reaches 73c..is this normal?
i have a good air circulation in the case and everything seem to be ok with the fans..(i applied OCZ thermal paste on the cpu).

I assume you're reading those temps from Probe II. They're too high for my taste. Download CoreTemp to monitor the temps for each core.

At 380 your vcore must be somewhere between 1.4 and 1.5, correct? Myself, I wouldn't go that high on air cooling. Your temps speak for themselves.

I'll give you something to compare with:

My E6600 Probe II CPU temps @ 333 (1.35 vcore)
Idle: 31C
Load: 48C

I would try and keep the CPU at less than 60c since thats it's max safe temp. I could probably OC mine higher, but I'm staying at 3.1ghz, at 3.2ghz I need 1.45v and temps get to close to 60c. I'm also using a scythe ninja. I'm getting 54c load at 3.1ghz(345x9) 1.4v.

Both Asus' utility and coretemp show mine at 61-63° C. That's at 100% CPU running two F@H instances. It seems perfectly stable so far in the day that I've had it.

I have a P5B dlx, E6600 w/intel heatsink, running at 9x333Mhz at stock voltage. I'm getting faster memory and a different cooler before going for more. (will be here tomorrow)
