Leaning towards the e6600 and would like to know if anyone here has one and what mobo they are using. Likes/dislikes??

Would like the abilitry to overclock at some point and time but stability is the most important factor.
Hoping to stay below $200 for the mobo.

Kinda on the same topic, is SLI worth trying? I wouldn't be able to get both cards now anyway, just curious if alot of people here do it?

The better overclocking Conroe/SLI mobos are not out yet. Next month sometime. You could get a P5N32 SLI mobo version now and its pretty stable but doesnt overclock that well. The P5W DH is a good mobo for a E6600 and has a good overclock ability but its a ATI chipset. Its around $215/$220 now online. Its stable and has alot of features. Right now I'd give it the nod for best with the E6600 and up chips until a new wave of mobos makes its way to market which is close at hand. The better overclocking mobos under $200 are the 965 mobos. The C2 versions of them are about to hit the market so might want to wait a bit.

I really can't wait too long. I am only able to use my work laptop now and have alot of files, etc. I will need to access sooner or later from my, now, deceased, pc.
