E6400 weird voltage issue

Ok so, Ive been running a E6400 @ 3ghz 1.325 volts on an Abit QuadGt for past year or more....

Recently decided to upgrade to 4gb of memory(finally). I got 4gb of corsair dominator pc2-8500. So before sticking it in, I decided it was time to flash to the latest mobo bios since it has been out of date.

Well it seems after I flashed the bios, after I set everything back after clearing cmos etc, speedfan and CPUZ 1.48 says my vcore is 1.53(speedfan) 1.528(CPUZ).

Ok so im like ughh, that doesnt sound right. I go into the bios and first thing I noticed was it was NOT holding the "user defined" voltage settings I was setting. It was reverting back to "autodetect" even though I had it set. Obviously why the hell would it be autodetecting to 1.53v, and why isnt it holding my defined settings? I load up 0.99.3 coretemp and it says the VID(thats the vcore right?) is 1.3250v.

So wtf, which one should I believe is correct? Which one reads what its actually set at? I havnt really noticed my temps going up too much, so im inclined to think its some weird glitch.

Because I saw it wasnt holding my definied voltage settings, I figured id revert back to the previous bios version. I have now reverted back to my original bios version, and my voltage is still wrong in speedfan and CPUZ.

Im worried its actually set to 1.53 volts and theres no way to change it : / Like, 1.53 volts is fairly high. Ive been running this thing at 3ghz at stock volts for a long time, I dont get why its saying its at 1.53 volts now.

I can only think of a couple of things to try, 1stly have you tried clearing the CMOS?
Also what does the bioses monitoring show for the vcore?
