Should the move to this new cpu reduce the temperature in my small computer room?

Please assume no overclocking and no other changes to the system.

In your room? I seriously doubt it. Sure the conroe runs cooler, but not to a degree(hah!) that it'll make your room feel cooler.

Anyways, you shouldn't really notice any temperature difference in the room. I'd imagine your room pretty much just insulates heat until a certain point where it's leaking a significant amount. But at that point you'd probably be cooked, and the cpu would be fried.
