e6400 overclock temperature

I am doing a little overclocking but have some concerns. I have a e6400 with l2 stepping but when I look into cpu-z it has revision b2. I then went to http://www.tomshardware.com/fo...core-temperature-guide and they said not to let it get over 60 degrees. It idles around 48 and full load is around 65. Is this ok, or should I reduce the overclock. I don't know if they are being safe or what.

Specs:
Asus p5w-dh delux mother board
e6400 @3.2 ghz 400mhz bus, 1600mhz fsb, 1.375 vcore in bios 1.344 vcore in cpu-z
Corsair xms6400 2 single gb sticks at 4-4-4-12
8800gt 675mhz core 975 mhz memory
550watt psu

Your fine...as long as your stable.I would only clock it down if it were hitting the 70's
 
I am using the stock cooler, I am just really afraid of f-ing something up. I am considering getting the zalman copper cooler soon or maybe even the 6600 quad core.
 
Ok, I just ran some more benchmarks and it is running stable at mid 60's. I know someone said this should be ok, but I just don't want to see my cpu "pop". I was looking at the thermalright ultra-120 but didn't know which fan I should mount on it.

Just mount a nice quite 120mm fan like an antec one on the thermalright 120.. Thats what i did and you should see a 10 degree if not more drop 🙂
 
Ok, well I have been running stability tests and have come to a really nice point. I don't do much cpu intensive stuff other than supreme commander so I set it to 2.4ghz at 800mhz ram frequency. It seems snappy loads at 57 degrees and passed 8 hours of orthos. When the thermalright comes in then 3.2 will look better.
