This is unusual, to say the least. I just installed my e6400 and everything seems to work fine, except that in CPU-Z and the Windows Task Manager CPU History chart only one processor is shown. Under the Device Manager there are two shown. When running F@H (one session) the cpu history shows 100% use and there is only one chart (not two, like I see on my Core Duo laptop).

Any suggestions for what is going on here?

Thanks!

Look in device manager under computer. Does it say ACPI multiprocessor PC? Go to the performance tab in task manager, click view, cpu history, and see if show one graph for each processor is selected. What version of CPUz? If it's an older version, that could be why.

Ok, apparently it was some kind of "first start-up" read error or something. I rebooted the machine and it came up with everything read correctly. Now shows both cores in cpu history and cpu-z.

Upgraded from an A64 3200+ and all I can say is WOW.
