I've OC'd an E6400 to 302mhz x 8 core temp (v 0.95, not the beta) reads temps at 50 while idling...are these safe temps? (I could definitely drop the temps 5C by turning up all the fans on high, but that makes too much noise) I'm using the preset Vcore of 1.325 by the way.

Oh and can someone explain what the "Tjunction" is...and WHY it is at 100 C? thanks... 100C...i could boil water with that :Q

Mobo: P5b-E

RAM: Corsair XMS DDR2-667

thanks for help.

E6400 should come with 85C Tjunction (temp set by Intel to throttle the chip to avoid overheating). You should clean up the paste and re-apply the heat sink. Normal idling temp at stock voltage is 40 to 45C with a well-ventilated case.
