Hey
im fairly new to overclocking but ive researched about it but now i have come to a problem where i am unsure if this is stable or not. im running my E6300 conroe @ 2.8ghz
my fsb is 400mhz 1:1, ive set vcore to 1.4v, set mch +.2v and ddr to 2.1. ive run orthos stable for 12 hours and 3dmark01,03,05,06 fine. although when i run superpi1.5 it ocasionly crashes or stops half way. is this sign of a stability issue? windows also doesnt seem to run as well, or its because im paranoid about superpi crashing.. ne help please?

You sure you need that much voltage just to get to 2.8? Is it stable with MCH at stock?

Your problem is caused because you're running @ 400 Mhz FSB. Your motherboard doesn't step up to the higher memory strap until 401 FSB; @ 400, you're trying to use the 1066 strap, which is alot harder on both the RAM and the motherboard.

Well it seems to run more stable, what should the settings be in general for voltages? 1066mhz strap? doesnt this board only support 1066mhz? how can it go higher? please explain!
