Well this has me very exited. I got a E6300 and got a new 680i motherboard and it over clocks like a champ. I had moved the voltage up initially from 1.35 to 1.38 and pushed the FSB up to 430 at the 7X multiplier. The ram is currently running at 800 at 4-4-4-12-T2. The system boots and ran orthos blend for 7 and a half hours. The temps are a little up there currently on stock cooling coming in at 67 max recorded after 2 hours (this had the Intel Thermal Analysis Tool putting 100% load and orthos running). That was last night and the system was still working fine when I woke up. I just was curious how far the processor could go on stock voltages so just for the hell of it lowed the voltage down to stock and save the changes. To my surprise the thing still boots into windows and seems to be stable. Orthos has been running now for 15 minutes and the Intel Thermal Analysis Tool and system seems to be just fine. I will be leaving this on while I'm at work but this seems to good to be true. 3.0Ghz at stock voltages and 65 degrees load on stock cooling? All voltages have been locked on their stock values other than ram (2.3) and are not on auto so this chip looks very promising.

I have not pushed the FSB above 430 as of yet. I want to see if the system will run stably at 3 Ghz at its original multiplier before moving on. As of right now the system seems great and I have yet to see a hick-up. Tonight I will lower the multiplier and see how high I can turn the FSB up. I will try and get some of my pictures up later tonight as well.
