HI geeks,
i m a small and self-centered geek out in south asia with a lil bit of gaming craziness. but i dont have much technical wiz to successfully overclock my new E6300 proc ...
So , please help me out guyz, my rig is
Intel core 2 Duo - E6300 1.86 GHZ proc
ASUS P5LD 945 MOBO
1 GB DDR2 667 MHZ RAM
NVIDIA 7600 GT 256 MB GDDR3 CARD
250 GB SEAGATE SATA2 HDD
i tried to overclock my PC through the BIOS setting there were 3 options
they are ,
1.MANUAL
2.AUTO
3.OVERCLOCK PROFILE
first i selected the manual setting and changed the clock speed to 3.0 GHZ and it failed very instantly and then i changed the clock speed to 2.8 and 2.6 and 2.4 but everytime,
the message "OVERCLOCKING FAILED " appears in
THEN SECONDLY I SELECTED THE AUTO OPTION BUT THIS TIME ALSO IT FAILS....
THEN I CHECKED OUT THE THIRD OPTION WHICH IS THE PROFILE OPTION AND I SET THE OVERCLOCKLING PROFILE AS
30% FASTER , BUT THIS ALSO ENDED IN VAIN....
EVERYTIME IN MY ATTEMPT THE MESSAGE APPEARED WAS ,
"OVERCLOCKING FAILED , YOUR MACHINE CONFIGURATION DOESNT SUPPORT OVERCLOCKING"
with regards ,
