Is there even thermal paste on the stock hsf? i didn't think i saw any on the bottom. Anyhow this cpu is running at 400fsb and HOT. I haven't even ran it under load yet to see what temps it hits. Whats the problem here?
 
i didn't bother to look and see if the stock HSF had any thermal paste on it. If it didn't i'll yank it off pronto and put on some AF5.

Can anyone confirm whether or not it has any? You'll save me some time checking 🙂
 
I believe the stock heatsink does come with pre-applied paste but if you wanna make sure just take it off and put some AS5.

About your vcore, there is usually some voltage drop from what it's set to in the bios, and apparently Asus boards are notorious for this.
