E5200 CPU running at 1.2 ghz instead of 2.5

I have an ASUS T3 T3-P5945GC barebone system and just installed an Intel E5200 CPU. Unfortunately, the cpu appears to be running at 1.2 ghz according to CPU ID and I have already updated to the latest BIOS dated 6/2008. I believe this CPU was released after this BIOS so it's possible that this CPU is not supported yet.
Is there anything I can do to clock the cpu up to 2.5 ghz which is the original spec of the CPU?

Go into the bios and turn off the power saving options. When the system is idle the motherboard will drop the multiplier to make the CPU clock slower in order to save power.
