130/35 = 3.7ish.

I lose... 😛

~160hp /~ 16mpg = 10.

There's got to be a better formula 😛

I think it works. The smaller the number the better. My average is actually 25-26, so 343/25 = 13.72, so you beat me!

shouldn't the lowest hp/mpg win?

No. Highest HP with the highest MPG wins. When I wrote mpg/hp it wasn't a formula, but it was a good idea. A formula that works would be as simple as multiplying HP by MPG, so:

343*38/100 = 130.34
170*40/100 = 68

Higher value wins as you get higher power AND good fuel economy! 🙂

363hp (at the wheels) * 20.5 average (17 city, 24 hwy) while needing a tune badly (12.0 A/F at WOT) = 74.415

363rwhp * 20.5 / 100 = 74.415

Should be a bit better when it's finished being tuned. Obviously going by flywheel numbers my numbers would also improve significantly, as I imagine most people with 100-200hp cars aren't going by dyno sheets, but manufacturer's flywheel claims.

600 flywheel hp * 27mpg (all highway) or 21mpg (average)/100 gives me

162 on a highway trip
126 on an average tank

Er, I thought this engine wasn't built yet...

It is, its in getting a boost leak fixed though.
