This is my first build and I was hoping could tell me if my temperatures are safe or not...

Running the E4500 CPU. Coretemp shows my idel temperature to be 30-35C and my full load temp to 50-52C - is this normal or safe?

I'm using the stock heatsink and per-applied thermal paste. Odd thing, heatsink never feels warm.
Also odd, coretemp always shows core0 is 2C warmer than Core1...

This is my case if that is any help:

I searched and found quite a few posts about overclocking, but I'm just running at normal speeds and getting these temps.

Any knowledge would be great!!!

looks good. the heatsink doesn't need to feel warm to know that its working. all u need are those core temps

Thanks for the replies!
Is it usual for the cores to be 2C off from each other?

Could be anything from 0 to 10C - especially with quads - 10C may be extreme though. Really depends on how the CPU distributes the processing between the cores

You're fine, the CPU can survive temperatures even above 70C. If one day you notice that your temps are significantly higher than they used to be, then you'll want to investigate that.
