Am leaning towards the E4300 over the E6300 because of the X9 multiplier. I know I don't need this powerfull of ram for the E4300 but it will allow me to upgrade the the cpu in future without changing the ram. Looking to get the highest stable OC. Goal is to be a bit future proof as well. Can't wait till the April CPU price drops either. Will probably buy a scythe ninja HSF unless it won't fit or theres better for same price.

Rig:
Gigabyte DS3 3.3 Rev
GSkill F2-6400PHU2-2GBHZ 2Gb (micron)
Evga 7900Gs KO
Seagate 320Gb Sata
Samsung 183L DVD/CDR Sata
Antec true Power Trio 650Watt
Antec Solo Case

Thx for help

The E4300 would be best if you plan on upgrading that CPU sometime in the near future. The E6300's have a bit more headroom than the E4300's, though. Also, I'd go with the X1950Pro over the 7900GS... better performance for your money. Oh, and you don't need a 650W PSU for that setup.

Thx for the reply. Actually am building it for a friend. Unfortunately the last computer I built was my P300 Oced to 450, been a bit out of the loop.

Never the less all the parts listed have already been bought , although the 7900GS KO is still unopened. I got in on that deal at Frys for $109. The PSU was bought for futureproof purposes, well that and because it was $60 AR from Frys a month ago.

Will there be any issues buying a cheap $5 dollar mouse and keyboard? Installing XP but future PS2 Vista issues maybe? He needs to keep prices down

Thx
