E4300/965P-DS3 OC Limit Problem - Idesa?

Just set up a new system using 965P-DS3 w/E4300, and I've hit the oc limit at 352 x 9= +/-3168. It should be easy to oc to around +/- 3.4 if not higher with stock aircooling although I'm running Zalman 9500 so temp is not even approaching 48 C with Prime 95. It's got the new F10 bios so the only question is is it my memory although running at 352 with 1:1 should not be an issue. I'm using OCZ Platinum Mirrored XTC 2P8001GK (2x512). I've adjusted all the voltages up (DDR +.4/CPU to 1.468, MCH +.2 FSB +.1 PCI-E +.1 memory timing to 5/5/5/5/15 and PCI-E to 100 Mhz still I can't get pass the 352, any ideas/suggestions? 🙁

Where do you get this idea? From all the reports I've seen 3.4 is about the extreme top of what people are getting from the E4300, and in many cases, its not with air cooling

Here is a quote from the last page of that
Throw in a more powerful CPU cooling setup, and we have no doubt it will be very easy to exceed our 3.37GHz overclock by a large margin
So I would like to find out how stable and how hot my system would get to cruise at +/-3.4 Mhz

Thanks, I'll try that when I get home. Although for some reason, I think when I started a few days back I tried the lower multiplier and I could not get higher overall speed!

Well, if you had an E4300 ES, you'd be able to clock it to 3.37 Ghz on air, also. Remember how everyone's, including Anandtech's, E6700 ES's were doing around 4 Ghz on air, since they were able to do it at/near stock voltages? ES's are hand-picked chips, and always overclock better than your average retail chip.
 
No luck of bumping the Mhz past 352 regardless of the multiplier. I tried bumping the DDr2 to 875 and it booted OK so I'm stuck where i was before. Although 76% OC boost is not too shaby I still would like to run about +/-3.4. Any other ideas out there? 🙁
 
I just came off E4300 overclock results thread, seems 3.2ish is norm for this chip on air. It also requires much more voltage compare to 6xxx line. You result could be wither FSB hole which I think you just showed is not, or this chip's limit which is quite likely at this point.
