E3 in a little more than 3 weeks

I'd like to see a Netflix streaming comes to the PS3 announcement. For games, I'll add Starcraft 2 & Diablo 3. PC games, to be sure, they are the only ones that I would buy on the spot.

MW2, Forza 3, and GT5

Hulu for the 360 isn't going to happen, pandora would be nice though.

Netflix for the PS3 would be a welcome addition.

Forza 3, MW2, Mass Effect 2 (at least a time frame or something)

And something cool for PS3 😛

E3 is slated to start on June 2nd and through the 4th. This will hopefully be a return to the E3s of old with big announcements and interesting happenings...plus booth babes.

Capcom has announced part of its E3 lineup along with Sega.

So, what are you hoping to see or looking forward to seeing?

What I want to see:
Hulu integration with the 360
More Live Primetime games announced
Forza 3
Hopefully some more interesting 360 exclusives for this year
Some non-party casual style Wii games (could Red Steel 2 be a start?)

What I am looking forward to seeing:
Bioshock 2
Assassin's Creed 2
Dragon Age
Lost Planet 2
Dead Rising 2
Champions Online
Split/Second
Brutal Legend
COD:Modern Warfare 2

What I don't want to see but is rumored:
Motion controls for the PS3 and 360

Hulu and Xbox ain't gonna exist unless Hulu moves to silverlight.

God of War 3 Gameplay + Release date
Uncharted 2 Gameplay
Ratchet + Clank: A crack in time Gameplay
Netflix/Youtube PS3 integration (maybe)
100$ Price drop for PS3 (doubtful)

I'm interested to see how these pan out and if this is what Don Mattrick is referencing with his recent quote that MS will "change home entertainment forever" at E3. If so, that's pretty sad.

Well, Ars thinks that the 360 version is a peripheral that would sits in front of the TV that reads your body movements and translates that to the screen without having to hold a controller (potentially).

It sounds interesting but...I'm just kind of meh over it right now.

Wasn't there something like that for the PS2? A camera or something?

Yeah, the EyeToy. All the games for it really did was put you on-screen and had you doing goofy things. The 360 peripheral is supposed to read your movements. So, if you do an uppercut in a boxing game, your character does an uppercut too. Swing a golf club, your character swings the same way, etc.

We'll see.

The Eyetoy tracked your movements. I don't know why they are coming out with that motion sensing thing. Dumb gimmick like most "revolutionary" add-ons always are.

Mass Effect 2
Modern Warfare 2
Brutal Legend
Forza 3

That is about all I can think of. I'm sure there's more though.

Starcraft 2 hopefully
Diablo 3 hopefully

These two above everything else but who knows. I hope they at least annouce a release date for Starcraft 2 and some more details on Diablo 3.

Mass Effect 2
Forza 3
Dead Rising 2

Nothing really else is creaming my twinkie this year.

It seems like everyone is gradually announcing their stuff pre-E3. It's too bad, I used to love the media orgy that e3 has always been.

I want to see a lot of media on Modern Warfare 2. I would love to see a lot of information released about GT5, including a possible release date and maybe a partial list of vehicles in the game. At the very least, maybe an update to GT5P that includes online lobbies.

for you people hoping for SC2 and D3 stuff...Blizzard doesn't even show up do they? I thought they had their own convention (Blizzcon)

Let's split this wish list up. Hardware/non-game specific stuff first:
1. AAC-5.1 in MPEG-4 container support on the 360.
2. Better Zune and WHS support on the 360. At a minimum, unify the Zune and 360 marketplaces.
3. Hulu integration. (Not likely, but, if anyone could do it, Microsoft and Sony could!)
4. Live Anywhere (aka, XBL on your phone). What the hell happened to this?
5. Proper cross-game clan support in XBL or PSN.

OK, now the games:
1. RGG / Yakuza 3 announced for the USA or Europe with English language support (even if it's just subs!). Bonus points for Kenzan.
2. New Shin Megami Tensei console game - doesn't need to be Persona per se.
3. Mass Effect 2 formal announcement.
4. Valkyria Chronicles 2.
5. Ar Tonelico 3. (Not likely; maybe next E3.)
6. Lost Odyssey 2. (Maybe? Mistwalker is working on SOMETHING.)
7. New Fire Emblem game for the Wii.
8. Final Fantasy 13 (demo, please?).
9. More XBL Prime Time announcements.
10. Elder Scrolls 5.
11. Fallout 4 (or even New Vegas!).
12. Dead Rising 2.
13. Alpha Protocol (I really hope it doesn't suck!).
14. Starhawk (the rumored Warhawk sequel).
15. Forza 3.

Some of the game stuff is probably more TGS material than E3, I admit.

Yes, this needs to happen. I have Yakuza 2 but haven't even opened it yet. I played the Japanese demo for Yakuza 3 which was awesome but nearly impossible to enjoy since I am not fluent in Japanese.

I doubt netflix will be on the ps3 anytime soon, didn't sony forbid them for showing certain movies.

I am trying my best to get into the show but am finding that its pretty dificult if you dont have any kind of hook ups. Basically because we dont run ads on Played's website or on I Eat Games.

Ugh.

However I'm not giving up. I contacted someone how is in charge of admissions and am pleading my case. We'll see what happens.

I've never been to an E3 before. :brokenheart:
