E3 in a little more than 3 weeks

E3 is slated to start on June 2nd and through the 4th. This will hopefully be a return to the E3s of old with big announcements and interesting happenings...plus booth babes.

Capcom has announced part of its E3 lineup along with Sega.

So, what are you hoping to see or looking forward to seeing?

What I want to see:
Hulu integration with the 360
More Live Primetime games announced
Forza 3
Hopefully some more interesting 360 exclusives for this year
Some non-party casual style Wii games (could Red Steel 2 be a start?)

What I am looking forward to seeing:
Bioshock 2
Assassin's Creed 2
Dragon Age
Lost Planet 2
Dead Rising 2
Champions Online
Split/Second
Brutal Legend
COD:Modern Warfare 2

What I don't want to see but is rumored:
Motion controls for the PS3 and 360

I'm mostly interested in Modern Warfare 2, Dead Rising 2, Assassins Creed 2, Forza 3, and primetime games.

I'm interested to see how these pan out and if this is what Don Mattrick is referencing with his recent quote that MS will "change home entertainment forever" at E3. If so, that's pretty sad.

Also, I'm interested in seeing most of the games everyone's excited about (Brutal Legend, all the upcoming sequels, etc.) but I'm more interested in seeing games that are under the radar and either haven't been announced or haven't been heavily hyped yet.

I want to see MW2, Forza 3, a working port of Tekken 6, Hulu integration.

Oh, and an announcement from Blizzard that Diablo 3 will be shipping this July

the one thing i hope we DONT see is a ton of family/quiz/wii-spinoff crap games coming out for the Xbox360 and PS3.

i also hope MS has something nice to show, as of now there isn't really 1 360 exclusive I really care about coming out this year. the halo ODST will be cool but im not excited for it.

uncharted 2 and the new R&C game i hope we see a lot of, especially the R&C game.

Well, Ars thinks that the 360 version is a peripheral that would sits in front of the TV that reads your body movements and translates that to the screen without having to hold a controller (potentially).

It sounds interesting but...I'm just kind of meh over it right now.

Exactly, if this is what MS has to change home entertainment then I'm not impressed. I haven't really read the speculation because I'm just not interested. I'm perfectly fine with physical controllers and for me these kinds of peripherals need to have killer software to support it, not something like You're In The Movies.

I'm hoping they will have something else to introduce like Hulu integration or something to shake up the XBLA marketplace.

Wasn't there something like that for the PS2? A camera or something?

I am really looking forward to Modern Warfare 2, and I hope to see some actual gameplay from God of War 3 and not these stupid cinema trailers they've been churning out. And Bioshock 2 goes without saying because I'll be getting that in a hot second when it comes out . I'm just happy my friend who I'm living with next year has a PS3 so I can finally enjoy games exclusive to it!

Yeah, the EyeToy. All the games for it really did was put you on-screen and had you doing goofy things. The 360 peripheral is supposed to read your movements. So, if you do an uppercut in a boxing game, your character does an uppercut too. Swing a golf club, your character swings the same way, etc.

We'll see.

Aww crap, and I thought the Wii was gonna be the one that got all the "Wii Sex" jokes, now it's gonna be a 360 thing!

Oh and how could I forget--I actually would like to see an announcement and details on the new PSP. I've never been interested in the PSP but there are games for it I'd like to play.

I'd like to see Forza 3, Assassin's Creed 2 and Bioshock 2.

I haven't heard too many people talking about it, but Prototype looks good. I've been keeping my eye on it after watching a few of the vids on gametrailers for it. I think it's suppose to come out in June.

just curious, if there are games you would like to play for the PSP, then why doesnt the current PSP interest you?

There are always other games for systems I already own that I'd rather play that don't entail buying yet another system for $170. So while there are games that I'd like to check out, I'm not interested in them enough to shell out the money required to play them.

Also, I'm hardly ever on the go and when I'm at home I'd rather play on a TV console or my PC.

I don't expect a new PSP to change any of this, but I'm still curious to see what it's like. Really I'd rather see Sony add the ability to play the PSP games that are available on PSN on the PS3.

It's similar for me: I'm interested in a few games on the DS, PSP, Wii and 360 but I have 20+ unplayed games for the PC, PS2 and PS3.

Even after I finish the 20 there will be more Steam sales (I'll probably be buying Defense Grid for $5 this weekend), and new games for the PC, PS3 and even PS2.

So I have to really want some game before it makes sense to buy a new console or handheld just to play it.

That slider PSP render looks nifty though, so I could see getting it for games and possibly other uses like a media player, ebook, browser, ...?

Edit: Dragon Age -- please be a good RPG, I need one!

Has there been anything to indicate that Hulu integration for the 360 might be a reality, or is that just wishful thinking?

A few things I'd like to see that haven't been mentioned yet:

id's new stuff - Rage, Wolfenstein, even Doom4 info
More Cry Engine 3 demos/news about next Crysis installment for PC (and hopefully) consoles
Halo 3 ODST
New Vegas (probably too early for this)
Alan Wake (is this ever gonna happen?)
HL2:Ep3

I'm in agreement with you about the motion controls. Not terribly interested in seeing MS rip off the Wii even more than they did with the Avatar. If I wanted a Wii I would have bought a Wii, but I bought an Xbox because it's the console that interested me the most.

edit: I really shouldn't knock the motion thing... It might turn out to be cool.

Back when Netflix streaming first came out, a MS exec mentioned Hulu and YouTube as other video services they'd like to integrate in the same fashion as Netflix. I'm hoping it actually does happen.

Id love to see some elder scrolls, maybe a little more left 4 dead, definitely some more mass effect, and one can only hope for the next total war series.

Id also love to hear a release date for starcraft 2.

It's funny how I've been more of a console gamer for the past few years, but I really wanna see stuff thats more at home on the PC. I'm getting real tired of these console FPSes. 😛
