E3-1585V5

E3-1585V5 seems like a perfect skylake CPU for gamers if it were unlocked. Are there any benchmarks available? I would like to see benchmarks of some games to see the effect of that L4 cache. That Xeon is the best available SKU to test that. The comparison to the Core 6700 would be perfect. Those CPUs are clocked very close to each other.
3.5/3.9 for the Xeon and 3.4-4GHz for the core. Kind of strange that Xeon have higher base but lower turbo anyway 100MHz difference shouldn't be a problem.

Looks like a BGA chip though.

I think you mean a 1275-V5? But that has no edram.

But then you need a Xeon board for it.

I would like to know if these 1151 Xeons can be run with all cores at the turbo multiplier, like Haswell will?

Is there an 1151 chip with edram out yet?
