e2c vs e3c: Will i notice a difference?

I can get my hands on the e2c's for aprox $70, and the e3c's for aprox $130.

Is it worth the extra $60 for the e3c's, and if so why?

If you got a headphone amp, your experience would be better...

But more than likely, yes, but it all depends on how much you care about detail and clean crisp music.

What about the Etymotic ER-6i? Are the Shure's better?? I tried out the 6i's at Macworld and they were phenomenal.

IDK, i just cant justify spending the extra money, I already own two sets of mid-highrange headphones (although neither are in-ear).

I have a set of Sennheiser PMX-60's, and a set of Sennheiser PMX-200's. The 200's give some pretty nice passive noise cancelation with the supraural closed csontruction.

So i have -somewhat- of a benchmark to judge off of.

I have both, and prefer the e3c's.

Hmm, maybe I'll splurge alittle, atually my bDay is comin up, maybe I'll ask my bro and parents to chip in on this one collectivley...(bro sitll owes me $30 from xmas he never gave me, his wife thought it'd be cute to get my a toy desert maker, im 18 for crying out loud!!!)

I've owned both, e2c's have more mellow bassy sound which I preferred. The E3's are a little more accurate but lack bass. My advice, wait for the new Shure E500's 🙂
