Hi im having problems with my pc ive just completed a new build and the only problems im having is to overclock it and for it to accept the 2nd ram module, here is my spec:
psu: winpower 450w atx
cpu: e2200 conroe dual core
Mobo: ga ep45 ds3 version f9 bios
ram:eek:cz pc8500 ddrII 1066 reaper (running @ 1.8v)
sata dvd ram drive
80gb ide maxtor hd
x3 inside fans

all settings on bios are set to default can anyone give me settings to safely overclock the cpu and ram, or do i need a better psu supply? please help

Are you able to get any overclock at all? Lock PCI-E to 100 and start increasing FSB. How many amps does your PS output on the 12v line? What are your temps like? Does it boot/run at default with the second RAM module? Do they both work individually?

this is one of easiest chip to oc, there's something fishy here. can be be more specific with your settings? fsb voltages on cpu etc? coolers used?

im using the f4 bios, cpu voltage @ 1.136
fsb @ 200 x 11 multi
memory @ 800 mhz running @ 1.8v +3.3v (ocz 8500 spec says to run @ 2.1v 5-5-5-15)
pci-e @ 100
pci @ 33
everytime i try to push this rig it hangs also it wont accept the 2nd stick of ram
