Well, got my e2200 last month and after installing windows and getting everything loaded began overclocking. 2.93 was the highest I could go (stock volts albeit) and anything higher wouldn't post without over 1.45 volts. Tried upping motherboard volts/ram and nothing helped. I left that for a week. I then decided I wanted to shoot for 3.0 ghz. Got it to boot at 1.3 volts but took 1.4 ( In bios) to be 24 hour orthos stable. Left that for 2 weeks. Then got the urge to get 3.1. Using the same 1.4 volts I was able to reach this and is 24 hour orthos stable. How can that be? lol

Sounds like you've got better luck than me. I'm only managing 3.06ghz with 1.44 volts on my E2200

Whats is the stock voltage on a e2200? On auto setting my mobo runs it at 1.325volts, seems a bit high.

Yeah, I think that the E2200s are worse overclockers than that E2140s, if you can believe that. I build a rig for a friend, and was only able to get his to 3.1Ghz, at 1.445v.

My E2140s run at 3.2Ghz, at 1.425v (BIOS).

Well, turns out my problem was the heatsink. I reseated it and got max load temps down to 50C (was at 60C). Haven't tried pushing the chip further, but I should be able to see a better overclock now.

Good luck to you! Idle temps on mine are a mere 22 and load is around 44. Don't know why it runs so cool to tell you the truth!
