The e2180 was supposed to be available on Aug 27th for $84 and the prices of e2160 and e2140 were supposed to fall to $74 and $64.

The e2180 is listed at Intel Proc Finder .

No - ETA to major Intel distributors - 09/21/07. All ecommerce sites will have them shortly after that.

Read the article - that was the July 22 price cut. And price cuts occur roughly every quarter, so no one in september I guess.

It's about damn time that the E2180 was released.
Why Intel lagged about the release of this part is beyond me.
