e200 or Phillips Lightwave?

Im buying a new 17"for xmas,they have a ew Phillips on the market that I saw @ staples and was very impressed(even liked it better than the Sony Multiscan e200)both cost about the same,im looking for the best image quality for the buck,and it has to be flat.Light waves ass end is alot smaller than the e200's----someone steer me in the right direction!!
