E.R. fans...Dr. Ross had a son???

This is the first I heard of it...

I've seen every episode, but I must have not caught this the first (or even second) time I saw this episode. It's about halfway through the first season and Doug is talking to a father whose little girl overdosed on cocaine. Ross thinks that the father is the one with the drugs, but it turns out that it was his older daughter...

Anyway, towards the end of the episode, the dad asks Ross if he has any kids. And Doug says "Yes, I have a son."

Now I never heard that mentioned again throughout the whole series of the show...

just watched that too I never knew that... I didn't start watching till mid-5th season, though, so I'm watching all these old eps for the first time.
