everytime i pop in a dvd i get an error that says the e:\quartz.dll is corrupt, and that windows does not have access or permission to access the drive. but the movie will play if i manually start windvd 2.1. i have a celeron 400@500, hercules ddr-dvi, abit bm6, 128mb ram, mx300, ricoh 4x4x24x, and pioneer 16x slot. also i am running win ME and all that goes with it.
can anybody help. this is really annoying.

Quartz.dll is part of Media Player. Reinstall Media Player, or you can install DirectX 8, as quartz.dll is included in that as well.
