e-mule - few search results?

I just recently installed e-mule (past few hours)

I've updated the server list a connected to one of the large probenprinz.de servers.
the first search I make gives me 5 results and then the message
"An attempt was made to access an unnamed file past its end."

another different search yields the same five results and the same message.

Any solutions?

BTW, I'm on a WinXP system running v0.27c

change the method to filedonkey or jigle or global server.
