E-mail transfer trouble

I recently built a new computer for my father. I copied the hard drives from his old p133 onto the new one, but when I start up microsoft outlook, it can't find his old emails. I'm assuming it kept them somewhere in the windows directory, cuz I can't find them in the program files-->outlook folder. Does anyone know where the emails are stored and how I might be able to retrieve and import them? Thanks in advance.
