Alright, it's time I read networking for dummies....or just ask you guys. I have gotten my website up and running(I had to breakdown and go Road Runner). Next question...how do I get email sent to my domain name?? i.e. johndoe@threesixtyfilms.com ??? Is that possible running Win2k Pro? Also, does anyone know how to "enable logging" in Win2k so that I can view activity on my site? I tried the IIS help, but I must not know enough. Laymans terms needed here. Thanks and God bless....

All you need is a "mailto:" link on your page. You can make it point at any mailbox you want.

If your provder has given you an/some email(s) accounts with your webspace, point the mailto: to that address (like "webmaster@threesixty.net")....whatever...I'm not much of a page wizard...anything more specifc than that's gotta come from someone who knows what their doing.....

Good Luck

Well, my webspace is my computer at home. I want to have people send email to my server here at home. Thank you though:)

You'll need a properly configured MTA (Mail Transport Agent, such as Exchange or Sendmail) and you'll need an MX record in DNS.

Yes, you need a mail server (MTA) not a mail program (MUA: Mail User Agent).

MX record (Mail eXchange): You'll need that added to your zone records for your domain.
