I have a rather strange problem and I am totally stumped on it.
When I check my email or attempt to send email (POP3/SMTP) Microsoft Outlook tells me it cannot find the server. Trying Outlook Express and Mozilla Thunderbird yields the same results. All of my other internet functions are fine, including web, msn, gaming, and ftp server. Furthermore, E-Mail and other functions are all fine on another computer that's connected to the internet on the same router. And the same email account works fine on the other computer as well.
This is very strange, and I have no idea what may have caused this. It started yesterday, around (but im not sure if exactly) the time I was messing around with IIS, trying to set up both an HTTP server and an FTP server. No changes were made to the router.
I use Shaw as my provider and email server. They use some kind of system that is limited to shaw users, and in the incoming/outgoing server addresses we simply type "shawmail".
Thanks a bunch for your help.
