Perhaps, but the gist of what you often write -- unthinking and unsupported political and social generalizations fabricated out of nothing more than your own immature prejudices -- reveals a seriously deficent level of intellect and personal maturity on your part.

? What did he do to you, steal your car?

And it's been all downhill for you since.

Besides, they gave that gold foil covered chocolate coin inscribed Swell Speller to everyone in your remedial reading class, or were you too excited to notice?

And, yes, nearly a decade later, you ARE the only one to not have eaten his.

And those gold foil covered chocolate coins you ate last night were sort of rubbery, weren't they?

Teehehe, I have no idea, I made that one up.

edit: *smacks Baked for the inappropriate comment*

:D

My multivariable calculus professor in CC was from UC Davis. Honestly, that's more of a real school than where a lot of people here on ATOT go to/went to.

The Rubrics I sent yesterday are like some points I would suggest for
your essay on the essay exam. These are like talking points. However,
I would expect to have some discussion and examples for them when you
write them. They are guide. Not a key. I am looking to see if you
make the connection of points and the tying of them together. This
tying together shows a thought process. I am looking for that in the
exam. There is no right or wrong...but how do you tie things together.

Is proficiency in English not required to teach?

I see no reason that a mastery of prescriptive English grammar should be a pre-requisite to teaching Political Science. Communication is about understanding. If you are able to understand what your professor is saying, and he demonstrates a clear mastery of the subject matter for which he is responsible, then why do you feel it is necessary that he also be a master of English composition? He wasn't hired to teach you how to write...

there are always tightwads in every class....if anything the teacher was purposefully condescending, probably because the class is full of numbskulls that need babytalking-to...and htye were trying to make sure all the idiots got the assignment details correct.

He was normal when i had him...

Same. He's a bright guy, but he's gone through some difficult personal problems lately, including substance abuse , which it is my understanding that he used as an escape from his other problems :( Some of you shouldn't be so quick to judge.

Harvard.

Shens?

I can personally vouch for the fact that he *does* go to Harvard. I must admit, I was pretty surprised. Takes all types to fill Harvard.

Shens

This doesn't all add up :p
