I was wondering if there was a way to get an automated response of some kind telling me when someone has recieved and opened an email I send. Any suggestions? Thanks.
 
Depends on what email program you are using. In Lotus Notes, could can select an option to confirm delivery, trace the entire path of the email, and get a return receipt. If it's web-based (free) email, send a note to the help center at your email site and ask them if return receipt is an option you can get. In Outlook Express, click Tools, Request Read Receipt (look in help, requesting read receipts for sent messages).
 
using eudora, there is such an option as the return receipt as well. i would say most respectable email programs would have such options.
