E-mail downloads but no browsing

I have a p4 2.4 on an intel 845gbv MB, connected to a dlink wireless router with a cat cable. Sometimes suddenly I cant browse from this desktop [while I can still download mail], and at the sametime my 2 laptops which are wirelessly connected to the same router and cable modem still surf. Have tried whatever I know-need help-please. This is even when I turn the firewall [Zonealarm] off. When i reboot all is OK for a few hours only.

Check the Gateway and DNS settings on that machine to see if the match the IP of the dlink router.


 
That I have already checked and you see it all works for hours and then stops. Reboot and it works again without any other changes
 
will try, but yesterday after extensive search I found some winsockxp program here on the forum which I downloaded and it 'seems' to have solved the problem
