I saw it at a circuitcity. It is quite good and definitely good buy for the price ($1099 after rebate at the circuitcity last week). The screen is nice and bright but it weigh quite heavy (about 7lbs I think).
The widescreen on this laptop is very good IMO. It is clear and bright (I actually think the LCD is better than that on the Apple TiPB but cann't really tell since there is no TiPB to compare side by side). The gfx is though pretty bad (being integrated solution).
The thing is their desktops are actually not bad at all now, now hear me out here. Having actually opened one up, I know there is not much inside, but they do have decent size power supplies now, and aren't quite as shoddily built
Their technical and customer support worry me, I have to admit. I have never really buy anything from e-machine and laptop is hard to fix myself (hardware-wise).
