E-Machine and New Memory Problem

I have http://www.emachines.com/products/products.html?prod=T5082
and I have tried to install
http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/m...ddr2_pc2_6400_gold_gx_xtc_dual_channel

But the machine will not start with both sticks
It will only start with one stick inside.
What do I have to do to get it to work with the 2 gigs installed.

You need to determine whether the BIOS for the mother board will support 2 gigs of RAM.

Get into setup and tell us the BIOS type and version.

doh... just read the specs.. OK, I posted to soon.

Still, you have a matched set and it wont post? any error codes? or it won't power up.

Yes, It's a Matched set of two sticks 2gigs
It will power up with the original stick of 512
It will power up with the 512 & 1 stick of one gig giveing 1.5 gigs of system memory

BUT will NOT power up with the two sticks for 2 gis of system memory
This is annoying
