No, I didn't buy one, but my gym recently installed them in the restrooms. Here's the link

http://www.dysonairblade.com/homepage.asp - Are they worth $1,000? no that's a lot of money for what it does. But it literally had my hands bone dry in about 10 seconds. I went back and re washed them again just so I could try it out a 2nd time. With the old push button air blower they had before and it would never really get my hands totally dry even if I used it for 40 seconds. If I was rich I would definitely have one of these in my houses bathroom.

most clubs around here have had them for years, I always spend way too much time playing with them when I'm drunk.

yeah they do work well. used one a few years ago at ikea.

it's probably worth it for a high traffic store rather than a few of those $500 regular hot air blowers.

theyre selling like crazy for commercial purposes. all businesses are going to them because they dont use as much electricity as the old style blowers. and it must be a lot less, because the airblade i hear are like $2k a pop! but i suppose over time its easy to cover any amount of upfront cost.

They are pretty cool except that if you use one in a really busy bathroom, there is a little puddle of water at the bottom that collects and kinda can spray you a bit. yick...

They got these at work, and they work great compared to the old style blowers, but I'd still just rather use a paper towel.

I just flick off as much water as I can then rub my damp hands on my pants or inside my shirt. lols.

I prefer the Xlerator hand dryers. They are like the old style hand dryers but 500% better.

Convention center I went to had those. I hated them.

People suck at washing their hands properly or at all, then they go and stick their hands into those things - those narrow things that almost guarantee contact. May as well just not wash your hands.

I also like the xleroator ones.

The airblade area is too small, as mentioned, and your hands get pushed towards the sides. The ones at ikea near me are disguting.. black/brown on places where you hands could tough. Blech.

These are popular down here. I have never touched the sides on one.

Maybe if someone has parkingsons or drunk in a bar YMMV.
