so i just registered and setup my dyndns account. i downloaded and installed the updater so the IP is going ot be right all the time. here is the problem. i am currently behind a prestige dsl modem and a netgear router. i know all about port fowarding etc... because i use it to host games online. i have setup the dynamic dns according to my dyndns.org settings in the router and modem. however, when i type in my dyndns address something.ftpaccess.cc the page brings me to my dsl login page. anyone outside the network gets page cannot be found error. anyone know whats up? i have forwarded ports 80 and 20 and 21. thanks

just as a side note:

typing in my dyndns name and typing in my actual IP both send me to my dsl modem. so doesnt that mean its working? will test with ventrilo server

yeah was able to connect to my server using dyndns name. awesome now i need to figure out how to get my website to work

Is your website in a certain direcotry? Try adding the directory name after your dyndns address.

You can also add an entry to your hosts file.
local address somewhere.ftpaccess.cc

The loopback function doesn't work very well on some routers.
