DynamiteData is slowing me down

Whatever this is that loads with anandtech (I guess add related?) is greatly reducing load times for the forums for me. Anyone else having trouble with this? I have tried adding it to adblock, but still seems to try to load and slow me down.

Locking this due to age. Feel free to start a new thread if need-be.

yep, i've had the exact same issue.

Yep, that's what Adblock is for.
Google Ads = non intrusive and fast, plus relevant to my region and interests = sure thing.
Dynamite Data = not relevant to me, and slows everything down = in the trash you go.

What wildcard should I add to adblock plus?

*.dynamitedate.com
dynamitedata.com/*

both do not work

*dynamitedata.com/*

Not using AdBlock plus btw, just vanilla AdBlock, but that works for me, and I'd guess it should work on Plus too 🙂

Is this what's causing the little java icon to appear in my taskbar whenever I visit the forums?

It gets me paranoid that there's some spyware or something loading.

Does it reduce A's income? If not - learn to live with it.

EX:
Search function = no $$$$, hence, it isn't yet and won't be fixed.

Can you redirect dynamitedata.com to 127.0.0.1 in the C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file without any adverse effects? I've done that with tribalfusion.com in the past with some success, but I'm not sure if it would work with this site.
