I'm wondering how many people are aware of the fact that register.com now allows you to use their dns servers?
When you register a domain you have the ability to map A/mx records via the web management tools so long as you have their dns servers specified.
Are people not aware of this? Granted, you pay full price for domain registration at register.com.... but they will take care of all your dns needs so long as your domain is registered with them.
Is there something I'm missing? I suppose the dynamic dns services allow for almost immediate updated entries when your IP changes. Register.com's take 24 hours to process.
I'd appreciate input from dynamic dns users.
